Swanland Group of Schools was opened in 1999 with 20 children in one room. On its third anniversary in May 2002, it had 205 children enrolled and that number is growing. It all started when Pastor Hudson Kuyanda began to kick a football on a piece of waste ground, while still a bible school student. Soon children from all around joined him. Pastor Hudson’s dream was to create a school and church to provide all these children with all that they lacked such as: Shelter, Medical assistance, food, education, and loving support.
He also dreamt of a training and resource centre, bible school for Pastors with these initiatives he dream he says; “hope in the lives of the precious people of his community.”
